Executive Assistant

Washington DC (In Person) | $90K

Our client is a mission-based organization focused on women’s global health initiatives. They are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support their dynamic CEO so that she can tackle important projects to expand their global outreach. This fast-paced role needs a proactive EA that serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President and CEO.

A typical week will include:

  • Complex calendaring across multiple time zones
  • Crafting complex travel itineraries, agendas, documents for travel-related meetings, and expense reports (using Concur)
  • Planning, coordinating, and ensuring the CEO’s schedule is followed
  • Keeping the CEO well-informed of upcoming activities and responsibilities and giving updates on the status of work in progress
  • Drafting correspondence, acknowledgment letters, and personal correspondence and maintaining communication with Board members, donors, and PAI staff on the CEO’s behalf
  • Prioritizing conflicting needs; proactively handle matters expeditiously and follow through on projects to successful completion while meeting deadline pressures
  • Liaising with board members, donors, and visitors using the utmost professionalism and discretion

  • You have a bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • You have 5-10 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms
