Executive Assistant

Washington, DC (HYBRID) | $100K-$120K

Our client is a highly-regarded global consulting firm that provides private and public sector leaders with subject matter expertise and guidance.  The Executive Assistant will support busy executives as well as coordinate and participate in office-wide functions to meet internal and external business objectives.

A typical week will include:

  • Supporting 5-6 Principals with complex calendaring and meeting coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Drafting expense reports and reconciling receipts
  • Coordinating event logistics and staffing them as needed
  • Assisting in coordinating and supporting various office activities including policy events, internal staff meetings, client briefings, monthly internal meetings, weekly internal staff lunches, leadership meetings, and other meetings as assigned
  • Using Microsoft Excel for basic data entry/manipulation
  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading various letters from rough drafts; independently composing correspondence related to assigned responsibilities
  • Screening phone calls for Principals, as well as responding to general inquiries

  • You have 5+ years of executive administrative experience supporting multiple executives on a daily basis
  • You can communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • You are able to maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding business and personnel matters
  • You can perform basic and complex executive administrative work involving the use of independent judgment and personal initiative
  • You understand the organization and operation of the firm and its clients
  • You can independently prepare correspondence
  • You can effectively work independently in the absence of supervision
  • You can work cooperatively and effectively with other staff members, clients, and outside vendors
  • You demonstrate flexibility, trustworthiness, and confidentiality
  • You maintain a positive approach to job responsibilities
  • You are highly organized and possess exceptional attention to detail
  • You have experience working with the MS Office Suite programs
